They have created a microsite to position the country as the best place to see the Northern Lights - or Aurora Borealis (for those in the know!)
You can get information on the phenomenon and the best places in Norway to see it, create your own Northern Lights and share it with friends via Twitter and Facebook.
Innovation Norway is calling it a 'viral' so let's help them get there.

Interesting.
But I am also always intrigued by the concept of 'viral' - a term mostly like used by PRs to try and create buzz around something.
Indeed, how can something *really* be called viral when it's only just launched. Surely it is only viral when it hits the big time?
*Both* links actually don't work... they both seem to be set up as internal links.
Sam - thanks. Fixed.
Kev - agreed.
But the magnetic North Pole is skewed towards Canada. Which means that Canada is the best place to view the most spectacular Aurora.
Also, you cannot declare a video to be viral upon release - it can only become viral through views.
I hereby request that you reclassify this article as an epic fail.
To be more accurate (and to make Kevin happy!): the My Northern Lights campaign has been created with an interactive element, which is designed to be shared through social networks and via email.
Whatever you chose to call it, we think the creative is fantastic and hope others enjoy creating their Norway Northern Lights paintings on the site.
