Thomson bring in the kids to spruce up air safety presentation

Air NZ's safety video is a good example of a video that actually *did* go viral around the world over the past few weeks. This is *just* cute.

When you start seeing it in mainstream media 3 or 4 days after you first spot it, now *that* is viral.

Aviation anoraks out of the closet and let’s talk safety demonstrations! A few years ago I had the pleasure of flying with Song, the short-lived US low-cost airline launched by Delta in 2003.

(It was also a pleasure to get out of Orlando, but that’s another story...)

Song’s safety demonstration came in three musical versions – Riverdance, deep soul or country & western. It’s probably the only time I’ve listened to deep soul and the only time I’ve listened to a safety demo.
