There are always extremely mixed points of view over online brochures in travel - so is this the way to do it?

Personally these slow zooms in and out make me feel slightly queasy, especially after breakfast. But what is appealing about it is the full screen imagery. The next step is to introduce video and a virtual tour in 3d, where you can actually reserve a room right there at the desk with a reception avatar.
I'm not sure online brochures meet the growing demands and expectations of online customers for media rich content. An image irrespective of the quality and size does not provide the customer with a fraction of the information a well produced video with voiceover can.

Our apologies for upsetting your fried egg and bacon butty this morning.

The question for most companies is whether they risk losing the SEO elements of a static site in favour of the high-end creative nature of the above.

As always on the lookout for cool website ideas, but after clicking around I am missing an awful lot here:
Where is it located? The Google image could be from everywhere....yes as part geek I know I can fiddle around with the Google buttons. But the site should draw me into its preferred clicking path....
Photos of the lodges are not integrated where I expect them. Nor descriptions of the rooms and so on and so forth.
Thanks for the pointer anyway. Isn't it an idea to launch a travolution best hotel site contest?

To your last point, we give an annual award to the best UK hotel website.
This year it went to SLH.com (small luxury hotels of the world) and The-Connaught.co.uk was highly commended.
No - major blooper for me is resizing your browser window. That must count as one of the most annoying website 'features' - why do you want to change what I have set my browser too!!!
It's not even a website, just slideshow intro. It lacks depth. When I clicked on 'menu' on the restaurant page it opened in an ugly popup - all that slick design gets shattered as soon as you want real information. Also profoundly irritating to have to sit through the fade in/zoom in intro every time you revisit the homepage.
Looks real purdy though :)
