What a day! I woke up this morning at 6.45am to BBC Breakfast news, to literally jump out of bed, switch on the laptop, and write a post as my fingers could type. By 7am the post was in Google’s search results and I started to receive traffic. As much as we all love to have a dig at Google, it’s response to new posts is incredible. As much as I have ranted about the travel industry and blogging, I have to take my hat off and salute the travel agents that signed on to the blog this morning and have left advice and tips, and answered questions. I am truly impressed by their professionalism.Especially since many of them had also spent the morning helping out their own customers.Today, traffic on a “normal day” is up by 63% and at the time of writing this they’re over 180 people reading the XL administration post.
