Corporate blogs - puff or pander?

Xavier Allee of Avis spent a lot of time talking the company's blog - WeTryHarder.co.uk - in his interview on the latest Travolution Purple Pod.

So this post from Joe Buhler continues the theme.

Of course, the most famous corporate blog in the travel space is that of Bill Marriott.

Hospitality.net started the discussion.

NB: Buhler has a new blog, Marketing on the Smart Web. Worth adding to your RSS reader.

As a travel technology company we have a blog about travel ecommerce - which is, in effect, a "corporate" blog... I hope it isn't seen as puff.

Alex: thankfully the number of times we've counted the words "travel UCD" or "tour cms" on the Musings blog are few and far between.certainly travolution has used the blog to plug our own products, so some might argue that we are a corporate blog - but i would disagree.
